  • Structuring finance scenarios aligned with lender requirements
  • Recommending suitable lending options and managing the application process

Information required from you

Before we suggest or assist you with entering into a loan or increasing the limit of an existing loan, we must assess whether that credit assistance would be unsuitable for you. To do this, we are required to make reasonable enquiries about your borrowing objectives, requirements and financial situation, and to take reasonable steps to verify the information you provide.

  • The loan may be unsuitable if you cannot repay it without substantial hardship
  • The loan may be unsuitable if it does not meet your stated requirements or objectives
  • If we provide credit assistance, we will provide a preliminary credit assessment on request where required

  • Upfront commissions from lenders or finance providers
  • Ongoing trail or recurring commissions where applicable
  • Client fees where disclosed in advance
  • Volume-based incentives or bonuses that may apply across total business written
  • Referral commissions or fees paid to introducers, where relevant and disclosed

Advice and limitations

We do not provide financial, legal or tax advice. It is important to understand your obligations under any proposed loan and the financial consequences imposed by that debt. If you have any doubts about a proposed finance contract, you should obtain independent financial and legal advice before entering into it. We do not make representations about the current value of real estate financed through us or about future prospects of value. You should rely on your own enquiries and professional advisers where required.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us and we will attempt to resolve the matter promptly. Our internal complaints process aims to resolve complaints within five business days where possible. If the complaint is likely to take longer, you will be kept updated on progress and provided with a written response once the investigation is complete.

External dispute resolution — AFCA

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, or you have not heard from us within 30 days, you may refer the matter to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), an ASIC-approved external dispute resolution scheme. AFCA provides an independent mechanism for resolving specific complaints and disputes at no cost to you.

Important compliance note
